Complaints Policy
Al-Iraqia Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research
To reassure researchers and address any concerns related to the publication process, Al-Iraqia Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research welcomes all inquiries and formal complaints. Authors are encouraged to carefully review the journal’s guidelines before submitting complaints. Only complaints lacking clear explanations or resolutions will be formally addressed.
When Can You Submit a Complaint?
- Dissatisfaction with journal policies or publication procedures.
- Unreasonable delay in publication or lack of response from the editorial office.
- Disagreement with an editorial or editorial-board decision.
- Unprofessional communication or inaccurate evaluation by a reviewer or editor.
Types of Complaints Recognized
- Author-related complaints.
- Plagiarism allegations.
- Duplicate or simultaneous submissions.
- Unethical influence on research outcomes.
- Violations of research methodology.
- Data falsification or fraudulent research practices.
- Conflicts of interest.
- Biased or unfair reviewer behavior.
Editorial Complaint Policy
The Editor-in-Chief and journal administrators handle all complaints promptly and fairly, regardless of the complainant. Constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated, as it contributes to continuous improvement of the journal’s processes.
Complaint Handling Policy
Complaints involving intellectual property violations, misinformation, or illegal content are immediately investigated. While the editorial team strives to eliminate errors, occasional issues may arise and will be addressed transparently.
Guidelines
- All suggestions and comments are welcomed to enhance journal quality.
- Complaints are typically resolved within 2–3 weeks.
- In copyright disputes, dialogue between involved parties may be facilitated.
