ARCHIVING POLICY

Archiving Policy

Authors retain full self-archiving rights for their accepted and published works in IJSER, both before and after publication, under the Open Access Policy. Authors have exclusive rights to their scholarly works and are free to store preprint and post print versions, as well as the publisher’s version or PDF, in personal or institutional repositories or libraries without the need for approval from the journal. This allows for quick public access to articles upon acceptance and publication. However, it is important for them to indicate the journal and place of initial publication and provide accurate citation details.

Authors have the option to make their published article publicly available immediately upon publication, without the need for permission from the journal’s editorial board. To do so, authors must deposit the URL of their published article with the PDF version and properly cite the journal as the publisher, along with other citation details.

Digital Archiving and Preservation

The Iraqi Journal of Scientific Engineering Research uses Iraqi academic scientific journals, which are part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research repository, for digital archiving and data preservation purposes. This guarantees the community's access to the journal's scientific content, even in the event of unintentional data loss in its own archive.
