ARCHIVING POLICY
Archiving Policy
Authors retain full self-archiving rights for their accepted and published works in IJSER under the Open Access Policy. Authors have exclusive rights to their scholarly works and may freely store preprint, postprint, and publisher (PDF) versions in:
- ✔ Personal websites
- ✔ Institutional repositories
- ✔ Academic libraries
No prior approval from the journal is required. This policy ensures rapid public access to articles immediately after acceptance or publication. Authors must clearly indicate the journal as the place of first publication and provide accurate citation details.
Immediate Open Access
Authors may make their published articles publicly available immediately upon publication without seeking permission from the editorial board. To ensure proper attribution, authors must:
- Deposit the article URL alongside the PDF
- Clearly cite IJSER as the publisher
- Include complete and accurate citation information
Digital Archiving & Preservation
The Iraqi Journal of Scientific Engineering Research (IJSER) is digitally archived through the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ), an official repository of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This digital preservation system ensures long-term accessibility to the journal’s scientific content, even in cases of unexpected data loss from the journal’s own servers.
